This simple but effective waveform processing software from Rion allows the user to carry out reanalysis of Rion DA-20 4 channel wav files. The DA-20PA1 automatically reads in the Rion wave file information from files recorded using the DA-20. DA-20PA1 can also be used with wav files recorded by the NA-28 and other Rion meters.

As well as carrying out FFT and 1/1, 1/3 octave band analysis of selected wav files, DA-20PA1 can also be used to obtain noise indices (such as LAmax, LAeq and LA90) and even 'Successive Statistics' (e.g. stats for specified successive periods within a recording) from the recorded wav file. When carrying out 1/1, 1/3 octave band analysis, the user can select to see the Statistics Panel, which will then allow the processing of environmental statistics on the 1/1 or 1/3 octave band data. For example, the user can obtain L90 or Lmax data in 1/3 octave bands.

• Specific processed data can be exported and saved as a text file, ready to be opened into a spreadsheet.
